One of my favourite shows is OWN's Anna & Kristina's Grocery Bag. Two home cooks review recipe books and try to prepare several courses by following the directions exactly. Their creations are judged by a professional chef, food critic, or food lover. Along the way, the audience is often entertained by their mistakes, which often include a serenade by the smoke detector.
A recent sure-fire (with no actual flames present) winner, however, was Engagement Chicken. Why is it called that? Legend has it that when someone prepares this delectable chicken for their partner, a proposal soon follows.

I have to admit, it's juicy, moist, flavourful, and dead simple.
The only proposal that followed, however, was, "Will you make that again?"
